Is buying a house an emotional decision Buying a House is a Numbers Game, not an emotional decision. Buying a house is definitely a numbers game. Although most buyers think they are making an emotional decision in buying a house, the number dictate which house they end up buying and think they bought the house by emotions first. Case and point when where the numbers lead to a decision to start with the price of the, the interest rates, the distance from work or school or family or hospital, the HOA fees if any, the size of the house, the number of bedrooms etc etc .. all about the numbers.

So I say that buying a house if dictated by numbers first then followed by your emotions within those numbers combined.
