Insane Housing Market 2021. This is a Ridiculous and Frustrating housing market in 2021
The 2021 housing market has been unlike anything I have seen in the last 30 years!. Prices are truly out of control!. Imagine, During the 2020-2021 covid19 Pandemic, home prices in some parts of California has gone up anywhere from 10-25% higher, and this is after the last 6-7 years of price increases…
This is truly a high sellers market! The multiple offers, many homes, priced at market value are getting upto 50-60 offer and all the homes, at least the ones I have written offers for have gotten 5-10 offers! This surely is and Insane housing market 2021 and a Ridiculous and frustrating housing market. It is very hard to get an offer accepted even after you offer 10% over ask price, offer no appraisal contingencies remove all contingencies in 10-15 days, ask for no repairs and also have the seller stay in the house for 30-60 after close of escrow.
That is Ridiculous and very frustrating not only the buyers and agents and brokers, but also to sellers, as many become buyers right after selling! To make matters even worse, there is a notion that home will go up in prices anywhere from 2-5 % annually over the next few years. Fasten your seat belts, this ride is not over yet.
